Beyond the ‘bucket list’

Curious how we use the Cozi app in our everyday lives beyond empty nesting?

Truth be told, we use this app for everything in our lives. The calendar function in the app is the center of our activity, from bill due dates to doctor’s appointment; from meal planning to vacation plans.

o   Cozi’s List function is where the rubber meets the road. They have Shopping, To Do and Chores tabs.

• Cozi’s Shopping tab is where we keep a running list of the items we need from the grocery store. We cannot tell you what a lifesaver this functionality has been for us over the years. When one of us is at the store, we just look at Cozi and know exactly what we have to buy. It used to be connected to Amazon Alexa and we could simply say “Alexa, add milk to the Cozi shopping list.” That was glorious (please, please bring this back Cozi)!

• We also use the Lists function to pack for family vacations, plan for family trips and where we want to go, pack our college kid up every fall and so much more!

• And probably the most genius function of this app is the Birthdays function. With Cozi Gold you can track family and friend's birthdays and they show up in your calendar…automatically. In our busy lives, this allows us to keep track of everyone’s birthdays…and we have a big family, so this is GOLD! The bonus? If you add the birth year, it reminds you how old the person is turning as well. With 14 cousins on both sides our family it's a huge help.
